early
years.
It
was
rustic
to
say
the
least,
but
some
of
the
greatest
times
of
our
lives.
We
were
in
the
first
building
at
Cottage
Hill
and
Azalea
from
1981-1984.
The
first
location
saw
everything
from
pro
football
players
to
Chris
Dickerson
who had just won the Mr. Olympia title in 1982.
Can
you
imagine
being
a
19-year
old
kid
who
opens
a
whole
in
the
wall
gym
and
two
years
later
your
are
playing
host
to
Mr.
Olympia?
Not
only
Chris
Dickerson,
but
also
Fred
Hatfield.
“Dr.
Squat”
himself
made
a
visit
to
that
first
gym
and
became
a
life
long
friend.
When
I
look
back
it
almost seem like a dream.
